Why Using an Airport Limo Might Save You Money

I work for a limousine company. Being privy to inside information, I learned about information I am now eagerly sharing with the public. Had I not come into personal contact with this limousine company owner, I may never have learned about about this special savings. However, once I learned about it, I decided the info had to come out before the publc.

Put very simply and straightforwardly, airports such as Toronto Pearson International Airport set tarrif schedules for taxis and limos picking up passengers from the airport and taking them to various points in Ontario State. As expected, for a given travel distance, the limo tarrif is a bit more than the taxi tarrif. That's all well and good and to be expected. However, when the ride goes in the opposite direction, things change.

A limo taking customers to the airport will still charge a fixed tarrif whose price depends on where the pick-up was made. The taxi cab, on the other hand, will run the meter. If the cab gets bogged down in heavy traffic, or when it stops at red lights, the meter will keep on ticking and rising, even when the cab is standing still. Bottom line, in many instances, the taxi ride to the airport can outprice the limo ride. And to add salt to wounds, taxis charge a special tax which is added to the bill.

I don't expect you to entirely believe me. I was sceptical of this myself when I heard about it from the limo owner, so I demanded concrete examples. And, here's what he gave me:

The fare for a limo ride from Mississauga to Toronto Pearson International Airport will run $35-$55, depending on where the pickup was made. The taxi fare for the same ride will vary from $35-60

For a limo ride from Bramptom to Toronto Pearson International Airport the charge will be $40-55, depending on where the pickup was made. A taxi will charge $40-60 for the same trip. For a limo ride from Burlington to Toronto Pearson International Airport, a limo will charge anywhere from $65-80, depending on where the pickup was made. A taxi will charge anywhere from $70-85 for the same trip.

On top of this, a taxi will take the back road on the trip from Burlington to the airport, whereas 90% of the time a limo will take the toll road.

If you still don't believe me, check it out yourself, next time you are vacationing in Toronto, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Toronto Pearson International Airport

Toronto Pearson International Airport in north-eastern Mississauga (Malton) is a center for Air Canada and provides flights to all regional, national, and international destinations. The airport received its name from one of the most distinguished modern personnages in Canadian and International Diplomacy. Lester Pearson, the first Canadian to be appointed ambassador to the United Nations is credited with the development of the current system of diplomacy known popularly as "crisis intervention." The foundation of the security council was another one of his innovations. It is inevitable that Pearson would have been selected as the first General Secretary of the United Nations, but, the proposal was vetoed by the Soviet block.

Today Toronto Pearson International Airport sends planes to all the major countries that Pearson's work helped to sustain with peace during his lifetime. The airport acts as the springboard for a network of inter-continental flights that help to bind together cities throughout the globe, serving the same goal of world unity, and peaceful international commerce and existence, that Pearson and the institution he help found sought to do.

While named after Toronto, the airport is actually situated within the thriving metropolitan area of Mississauga. Mississauga is an amazing town that has swollen from a small city to a vibrant urban center of greater than 700,000 residents. It harbors successful burgeoning commercial centers and a clean record of solid family life and very low crime rates. The sum total of all the industrial areas within a day's drive of the airport is believed to be the richest commercial area in North America.

The city of Mississauga proudly supports Lester Pearson International Airport with a variety of airport transportation modalities including buses, shuttles, Mississauga airport taxis and Mississauga airport limos. Because of its convenience to the airport, Mississauga hosts a number of business meetings and conventions at hotels and centers within easy commute from the airport. Just a 5-15 minute drive from the airport in a Mississauga limo or taxi, and a businesman coming from hundreds of miles away can be comfortably settled in a swank hotel and preparing to meet with his colleagues at a nearby meeting hall or convention center.

Mississauga Airport Limo at Toronto Airport

Toronto Pearson International Airport, serves the city of Toronto and the state of Ontario and is one of the largest airports in the world. Interestingly, although named after the city Toronto the airport is actually located in the nearby city of Mississauga. This phenomenon of an airport called after one city being located in another city is not that rare. Because airports need to stretch out they frequently have to be located in the suburbs, outside of the main metropolis. Every locale is close to some town, and it just so happens that Mississauga, the city that hosts Toronto Pearson International Airport is also a large city.

The importance of this to people travelling in the area is that when scheduling a pickup from the airport itis sensible to use a limo company located in Mississauga, rather than one located in Toronto. While certain neighborhoods of Toronto are closer to the airport than certain certain neighborhoods of Mississauga, in general Mississauga based limo companies are closer to the airport.Should traffic be congested, or if there is a bad ice storm, limos that have a shorter distance to travel to the airport are more likely to be on time.

In truth, even should you decide to hire a Mississauga airport limo company, you might get decived by online advertising. Most limo companies, in the desire to come up at the top of the search for a Toronto Airport Limo, will list their company as located in Toronto. So you can't tell where they are really coming from to get to the airport. However, should you search for an Airport to Toronto limo ride and find that a Mississauga airport limo company comes up on page one, then you can be sure they are an honest limo company and you can't go wrong using them for the Airport to Toronto commute.

By the way, don't assume that Mississauga limo companies as opposed to Toronto Limo are small time and less professional. Mississauga is a thriving city of greater than 3/4 of a milion residents. It is also located within the wealthiest industrial area in the Northern Hemisphere, so that Mississauga limousine companies service many rich clients.

So if you hapen to make the Airport Toronto Limo search on the Internet, and a Mississauga airport limo company comes up on top, don't be shy. And by the way, if you make a Denver Airport Limo search and a limo company in Aurora, CO comes up on top, its the same thing. Denver Airport is located on the outskirts of the city, much closer to Aurora, Commerce City and Thornton.

The taxi fare for the same ride will vary from $35-60
For a limo ride from Brampton to Toronto Pearson International Airport the charge will be $40-55, depending on where the pickup was made.

If you still don't trust me, check it out yourself, next time you are visiting in Toronto, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Advantates of Airport Limo Travel

The CEO of Airport Taxi Limo Toronto, a Mississauga based limousine company, released some startling information recently. Mr. Salman Anwar told the public that passengers traveling to Toronto Pearson International Airport get a superior ride compared to a taxi, while sometimes saving money as well. Salman pointed out, that taxis traveling to the airport charge by the meter When the traffic gets sluggish, such as during rush hours, or in busy city streets, the meter keeps running, and the taxi fare goes up, whereas the limousines charge a flat fee for the ride to Toronto Pearson International Airport, which never changes, even if the traffic is congestetd. Taxis, unlike limousines, apply an additional tax, which is appended to their fare. Airport limousines, on the other hand, charge customers a flat fee, which is unaffected by travel time. As a results, taxi fares often rise significantly above limo fares for the same ride, while providing inferior services.

Mr. Anwar's remarks are suported by statistics, which he released to the press. If a passenger is riding from Mississauga to Toronto Lester Pearson International Airport, his flat feee price is $35-$55 depending on which part of the city he is coming from. The taxi price for the same trip will range from $35-60 depending on the traffic. For a trip from Brampton to Toronto Pearson International Airport a limousine charges $40-$55 while a taxi charges $40-$65. From Burlington to Toronto Pearson International AirportM a limousine charges $65-$80, while a taxi charges $70-85. Additionally, according to Mr. Anwar, on the Burlington to Toronto Pearson International Airport trip limousines take the quicker toll road most of the time, whereas taxis travel on the slow non-toll road 90% of the time!

Mr. Anwar emphasized that not only are customers getting a small savings on the fare, they are also getting superior limousine comforts. Mr. Anwar noted the following benefits of riding in a limousine: The interior is roomier; the vehicles are cleaner and newer; the ride is quieter , there is no click click of the meter; there is no worry about the cost of the ride creeping up as the taximeter climbs; the navigation is gps guided, which means no stops, no need to ask for directions, and no getting lost, even in foggy weather, along dark roads, or in heavy rain storms.

Why the Name Airport Toronto Limo Taxi?

Boruch: Hi, I'm Boruch Fishman and welcome to another episode of Close Up. Today I am going to be talking with Salman Anwar, the owner of Airport Toronto Limo Taxi, and we are going to be asking him some questions about his company name.

Boruch Hi Salman, how are you doing today.

Salaman: Just fine:

Boruch: Now Salman, in this day of SEO savvy companies, are you going to tell me that Airport Toronto Limo Taxi is your companies real name, or is it just a made up bunch of keywords.

Salman: Actually, it is a real name and I am in the provess of getting it registered. It is our real company name.

Boruch: Okay. Now let me ask you a tough question. Why did you name the company Airport Toronto Limo Taxi and not Toronto Airport Taxi or Toronto Airport Limo, And why do you use both taxi and limo in the name.

Salman: We'll Boruch , we actually had no choice as every other combination of these four names has been used up. However, the combination we got explains our main purpose. We take people from the airport, (meaning Toronto Pearson International Airport), to Toronto in a limo. So that comes out to Airport Toronto Limo.

Boruch: Oh, I see, so you pick people up at the airport and take them to downtown Toronto, airport toronto. The limo word is added in because you transport your customers in a limo. But why did you add the word taxi to the name?

Salman: We'll Boruch, we want to stress to the consumer that at times, riding in a limousine can be cheaper than a taxi. Even though our flat rate to and from the airport is slightly more than the taxi rate, taxis run the meter at red lights and in traffic. At long red lights and in severely congested traffic, their meters can run up quite a bit, and so at times their total fare surpases our fixed price.

Boruch Okay, so that explains the use of the four words. Let me ask you just one more question. Your company is based in Mississauga, why don't you call yourself Mississauga Airport Limo.

Salman: Well, that's a good point Boruch, that's not a bad name at all for a Mississauga Limousine company. The name we choose, however, is actually more appropriate than you might think, because even though the airport we serve is called Toronto International Airport it is actually located in Mississauga. Consequently, the decision to use the word Toronto in our company name reflects our service to the local airport. In fact, the use of the name serves two purposes. On the one hand it refers to the large airport in our locale, Toronto Pearson International airport, and on the other hand it addresses the number of people who go from the airport to Toronto.

Boruch: So you figured you would cash in on the airport to Toronto business.

Salman: Exactly, it's a large volume of riders every day. We know that in the long run, our web site will come up first when people order an airport to Toronto limo. And why shouldn't it. Being as we are located in Mississauga, getting to the airport is more convenient for us than limousine companies located in downtown Toronto. At the same time, we know downtown Toronto very well, and have lots of experience delivering clients to the hotels, meetings halls, convention centers, restaurants and tourist spots.

Boruch: We'll now that you explain it, it does make sense, and I will let you off the hook. Good luck cashing in on the airport to Toronto commuter business! Well, that wraps it up for another episode of "Close Up," I'm Boruch Fishman, folks, have a great day.

A Day in the Life of Sam Tlemcani, Denver Airport Taxi Driver

Sam Tlecani is the owner and a driver of Pyramids Limo of Denver. Pyramids is a Denver Airport Taxi and Denver Airport Limo service. Sam uses taxi interchangeably with limo because it connotes the reasonable price his company is able to offer passengers. Some people are scared off by the thought of high limo prices. However, when it comes to riding to and from to the airport, the cost of a limousine ride sometimes fall under the taxi price because it's based on a flat fee, whereas taxis charge by the meter, and their price can climb quite a bit when they're stuck in morning or afternnon commuter traffic.

Most of Sam's limousine fares are routine, but then again each one's different, and putting them all together creates a tapestry of his work. Yesterday Sam had an airport ride leaving from a residential neighborhood. Like most house to airport fares, this individual was a Denver resident flying to another city on personal business. The call was for a pickup on Parker Road, an affluent section of Denver, and this woman had a house combination ranch. When Sam drove up, she was feeding her horses and dog. Sam picked up her bags, which were near the garage, and carried them to the car. Carrying bags is one of the duties of the limo chauffeur at private residences, but not at the airport. Sam always wears a uniform when he drives. In the winter he dresses n a suit and tie, and in the summer a shirt and tie.

This customer was flying out of Denver to visit her sick father in Pennsylvania. She had called Sam just yesterday, after finding his listing on the Internet. The ride was very satisfying for Sam. He had worked hard to get his company a first page listing for the "Denver Airport Taxi" search on Google, and now he was reaping the fruits of his hard work. The woman had consulted the web yesterday, and contacted the first company she found on the local search results for "airport limo, Denver." She clicked on Sam's website, liked what she saw, and gave him a call. The pickup was on time, and Sam drove via the expressway to Denver International Airport. The trip took 40 minutes and was uneventful. The woman liked the ride and the car. She told Sam that if her husband could not meet her at the airport when she returns then she would certainly give him a call.

While Sam's company provides more than a mere Denver airport taxi service, usually transporting customers in Lincoln sedans or SUV limos depending on the request, he, nevertheless, finds that web surfers who find him via the Denver Airport taxi search are generally happy with his prices and service. He is happy to have them as customers and happy that some people who otherwise would have chosen to ride to the airport in a taxi got a chance to try a limo and found that they enjoyed the experience.

What are the Advantages of Limousine Travel

Why do so many people enjoy limousine travel? Let me count the ways. Pardon me,Okay, just had to throw in a little poetry. But actually, let's consider all the different ways in which limo travel is superior to taxi travel.

First, there is limo convenience. With a limo you aalways make an appointment before time. You don't have to stand out on the street and hail a limo. With many limo concerns you can arrange for phone contact with your driver ahead of time, so there is never a chance of a slip up. Limos wait for you at the airport, even if the flight is delayed. And {limousine|limo chauffeurs offer meet and greet. When you get off the plane in a new city, your limo driver will be inside the airport lobby holding a large sign with your name on it.

Limo drivers use GPS guidance systems. That means they won't need stop and ask directions, and the ride will be uninterrupted, start to finish. Your private chauffeur won't stop to pick up additional passengers along the way, whereas a cab driver may. Additionally you can make private arrangements with a limo driver. If he drives you on the way to the airport and you like him you can ask him to pick you up on the way home. With a taxi cab, arrangements are made by the company officeand you get whoever they select for you.

When you take a limo to the airport, you will be charged a flat fee, whereas cabbies run their meter and watch it rise when the traffic is heavy and at {red|traffic lights. For nights on the town, you can hire one limousine and it will accommodate 4, 8 or more riders all for one flat fee, whereas if you have a large party {you might have to hire more than one taxi each charging their own fare.

Now let us consider limo comfort, aah!! Limos are sparkling clean, usually taken to the car wash on alternate days and are odor free on the inside; taxis are not and frequently have a tobacco smell inside. Limousines are more roomy then taxis, and the attractive leather seating is much more comfortable. Limousine trunks are more spacious than taxi trunks and can accommodate more luggage. The limousine ride, whether its in a sedan, Lincoln Continental or stretch is much more comfortable than a cab,. {Thanks to the tainted windows and curtains|With tainted windows and curtains limo rides are more enjoyable. Frequently many limousines offer amenities including hot drinks, a refrigerator and a bar, cabs don't. Many limousines have DVDs, piped in music, fiber optic lighting, or a private movie screen; and there are large limos also have Jacuzzis.

Yeah, limos are usually, but not uniformly more expensive than cabs. But wow, look at all the benefits you get for your money. If traveling in a cab takes the worryout of driving, traveling in a modern limousine makes riding fun. So next time you are going on a trip consider treating yourself to the luxury of a limousine ride.
